What's new at Fairing Way?

We unveiled the new Community Garden last weekend, just in time for Memorial Day.  Residents may select a plot for their own, and some folks have already planted a variety of tomatoes, herbs and flowers.  It’ll be exciting to watch the progress of the garden over the course of the summer.


Root Beer Floats on the Patio

Residents enjoyed an impromptu gathering Wednesday May 31st, and enjoyed an old soda fountain favorite – Root Beer Floats! Being hardy souls, we didn’t let the overcast skies deter us from sitting at umbrella tables on the patio.


Cooking with Nadine

Earlier today, Independent Living Director Nadine Shweiri taught residents to make Corn & Shrimp Chowder with bacon. The tantalizing smell of bacon cooking had both visitors and residents looking all over for the source. Of course the fun part was eating the delicious chowder afterwards!
